Our main news this month is that we'll be holding our AGM on Friday 30th July at Shipley CE Primary School's playing field, opposite Redbeck Allotments on Otley Road, Shipley.  We'll be launching our Outreach Health Bus at the event, which we're really excited about. 

There will be cooking demos, health checks, exercise sessions, herb planting, hand massage and lots more going on, plus a bouncy castle and face painting for the kids. 

It's a great chance to come along and find out more about HALE (and have a look at our fab new bus!).  The AGM will run from 3pm 'til 6pm and all are welcome to pop by and join in!

We have just completed our monitoring for the first quarter of the 2010/2011 financial year and found that we have reached 810 service users - a new high for HALE!

HALE are running a fortnightly drop in service at Highcroft Youth Centre in Wrose for young people aged between 13 and 19 years old.  The sessions run from 7pm 'til 9pm and give people the opportunity to register for our free c-card condom distribution scheme.  We will also be offering Chlamydia screening and pregnancy testing at the sessions as well as the chance to get general information and advice on contraception and sexual health services in the local area.   Contact Sally on 01274 271088 to check when the next session is running.
