IMPACT Champions Award

We are really excited to be in line for an IMPACT Champions Award! The award is run by GlaxoSmithKline in partnership with the Kings Fund, so is really valuable recognition from prestigious organisations.

The Champions Award is open to organisations who were shortlisted for an IMPACT Award between 2000 and 2009, and is being awarded to charities who have demonstrated their impact in improving health in their community since winning the original award. We have been shortlisted amongst the top 8 and are in line for another trip to London for the award ceremony, where the bronze, silver and gold Champion winners will be announced, along with the overall winner judged to have had the most impact in their field. 

This really is BIG news for HALE as we have only had 12 months to demonstrate our impact, whereas other charities in the running have had up to 10 years!

The award ceremony takes place in May.  Watch this space to hear how we get on...!
