HALE runs a range of programmes and activities that aim to help people improve their lifestyle via nutrition and exercise.
We work with families, groups and individuals of all ages and use trained nutritionists and qualified horticulturalists to advise on all aspects of our programmes.
Our nutrition based programmes aim to encourage confidence in cooking and enthusiasm for growing food, as well as educating participants on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle by eating a balanced diet and taking exercise. Each programme is designed to identify different ways of encouraging people to learn about food and to eat more healthily.
Our exercise classes are run by qualified tutors in a supportive and non-competitive environment. We offer a range of classes to suit all ages and abilities.
