  Obesity
HALE runs four different programmes that look to address malnutrition, be it through over-eating or under-eating. Each programme is designed to identify different ways of encouraging people to learn about food and to eat more healthily.

We work closely with NHS Bradford and Airedale tPCT’s Obesity team, diabetic teams and cardiac teams. We also work with qualified exercise tutors, trained dieticians and qualified horticulturalists to ensure that what we offer is of an excellent standard.

Our obesity programmes aim to encourage confidence in cooking and enthusiasm for growing food and eating a balanced diet, along with taking some exercise. The programmes are aimed at people of all ages.
