CLASH
(Collaborative Learning About Sexual Health)
This programme has been developed specifically for young people. lt focuses on building up confidence, self esteem and learning more about relationships and sexual health.
We deliver a rolling programme linked to existing sexual health drop-ins with Shipley Teen Health and the Owlet Family Centre. The programme raises awareness about STI’s, peer pressure, relationships, confidence, diet, alcohol and drug awareness. We take on additional referrals from Bradford Council’s Youth Service and Leaving Care service.
The course includes a wall climb and writing a rap. Venues can vary – a canal barge, community centres, medical centres, cafes or schools – depending on the group’s needs.
“It is the best course any of our girls have ever gone on.” (Manager for Leaving Care Odsal office).
