CLASH
Collaborative Learning About Sexual Health
This programme has been developed specifically for young people. lt focuses on building up confidence, self esteem and learning more about relationships and sexual health. It also highlights the impact that drugs and alcohol can have on relationships and the risk of STIs.
We promote the CLASH programme within existing sexual health drop-ins, secondary schools and youth based provisions. We also take on additional referrals from Bradford Council’s Youth Service and Leaving Care service.
The course raises awareness about STI’s, peer pressure, relationships, confidence, diet, alcohol and drug awareness, and includes a practical activity which helps to build trust within the group through team work.
We adapt the course depending on the groups needs and use various venues, such as a canal barge, community centres, medical centres, cafes or schools.
