About HALE
|
HALE reached over 1,000 people in 2008/2009 - our first year as an independent charity. The figure for 2009/2010 rose to 2,624 people, and we reached an amazing 4,104 people in 2010/11. So far this year (April to end of October) we have engaged 1,797 people, with our numbers steadily increasing each quarter. These figures do not include the many young people who do not fill in the registration forms, or the many people we reach through our interactive fun day events. In 2010-11, 50% of our funding came from NHS Bradford and Airedale (a Primary Care Trust, or PCT). We had 8 main sources of funding, including the local GP Alliance, Shipley Area Co-ordinators Office, and our IMPACT Award. In 2010-11, 67% of our money was spent on the staff who deliver our projects, and 14% on other project delivery costs.
